This game was once one of the best games of its time, graphically, gameplayed and stylishly. I loved to play CS2D in file

CS2D - Halo skins and sounds pack V2 (92) mod. Nowadays it's very outdated game, but still love it.

just because this game became too old and devs doesn't care about doing updates or helping the game from coming cheaters

this game can rest in piece now

There seems to be a total of 1 cheats on all servers at the moment

Doesn't matter if it's 1 or 100 different cheats. 1 is enough to ruin the experience for everyone if it works and is used.

If there's a good thing about having few players, is that only a couple of servers remain active and luckily there's usually an admin or mod a Discord PM away from solving the 1 cheater issue.

I remember the chaotic situation some servers had years ago, with hackers being able to go through walls, literally a client side no-clip and servers being full of "hackbots" spinning like crazy with aimbot.

A remnant and kind of like little Easter Egg from this time is one of CS2D's default bot names, "Adon-little", which I'm pretty sure is a reference to hacker known at the time as user

ADONRADON and a hack which was called "DC-LITTLE". Here's an obscure piece of useless trivia for y'all.

DC has written

adon-gay-ron calls his "hacks" "DC-Little" and those names are simply my reaction on that. It's a great idea to make fun of hackers and we all should do that whenever we have the chance. hooray!

Since DC isn't thinking about moving further with this game I guess it's the old members responsability to afford a better gameplay by improuving this game for new players who're obviously kids just to let them enjoy the game as we've used to do.

I'm always up for any kind of help.
