I don't know how the math behind that stuff works Since all the underlying logic for visibility has only tile precision it wouldn't work very well and come with a lot of problems when used in CS2D. I totally agree however that it looks much better than the CS2D FoW. tl;dr: I think that won't happen. Sorry.
Re: Petition for having this fancy feature backSQ Moderator Offline 05.11.20 05:33:13 am That is done via Render Texture (FBO) BlitzMax does not support low level shader programming, so this is rather unoptimized and inefficient. I have written better version of this system in Unity, I'll hopefully will make some posts about that soon enough.
