yes, it definitely works on Windows 10. Not sure about the latest Win 10 updates though as I my laptop refuses to install them...
How did you install the game? Or did you extract it? I recommend to try the zip version and to extract it to somewhere OUTSIDE "C:/Program files". Directly "C:/Stranded 2" for instance.
Also try to run the game as administrator.
In many cases it also helps to update the system and/or drivers. Especially video card drivers are often causing issues.
