you can name it anything you want.
I wouldn't use 'software', your name, or anything like that in it. Just take a look at 'steam', 'running with scissors', 'amazon', ...
so the name doesn't even have to be associated to the product

what about:
crawling zombies
mad/lonely/transient hitchhiker
rich dust
flying ark
mole and vole

or leave the US acronym but instead of unreal use:
urban, uncommon, uptown, used, .. or something

edit: I like weird pals too, you could use the singular if you want to be associated with a one man studio

or just stick with unrealsoftware, who cares about the developer name?

Thats not sad, you're just being an ungrateful asshole.

You wanna know whats really sad? The fact that you get that upset about DC wanting to earn some additional money (which is absolutely fine considering how much effort he puts into all this) even though he has already spent thousands of hours working on free games for your fucking ungrateful ass.

He obviously does not understand how much it cost to make these kind of projects. DC paid entry for the Greenlight title that is a free to play game without any transactions. People really does not understand how much effort DC put recently. I would say year ago all us activity was really shitty comparing to what is going right now.

if theres a way to reflect the Stranded series (being the main theme, despite not being the most popular) that would be the coolest personally.

that said, while its misleading, i still love good ole Unrealsoftware, when i think the stranded series, it will always be Unrealsoftware, but i digress.

Im really excited about future UnrealSoftware prospects, so while i love the old name, im just happy to see DC finally hitting it big in the indie scene, only took you like 15 years

I also said that names which are related to one specific project (like Stranded or CS2D) are bad as well because Unreal Software works on more than one project and will hopefully work on other new projects in future.
