Some updates. Experimenting with muzzle flash and x-mas map looks great in 3D.
@ Pagyra: you occur resolution like that if you select "desktop" setting which also keeps in mind your tool bar size.
All other problems are known and quite obvious, we are working on it. SQ: nice muzzle flash but it not fit to pistol

Okay, need to look at that.
I'll improve muzzle flash and other effects little by little. Not saying it's complete. There is problem with start mods via using Launcher(why not from menu same as editor) mod starts, but not all resources from mod folder are loaded.
So at this moment correct start is using *.bat or lnk files with -path parameter.

We are using the Launcher because of the way CS2D is initialized. This won't be changed. Especially not for CS2D 1.0.0.3. You are again suggesting new things/features here. Please use the idea thread instead for this kind of stuff.
Could you please explain the problem with the mod loading? Which resources are not loaded? @ DC: looks like players joining the server downloading files, but don't using them for current play session. DC Admin Online
ugh.. okay thanks. This sounds like something which isn't easy to fix. EngiN33R probably didn't consider it when adding that transfer stuff for mods
So I assume that this will probably not be fixed. @ StirlizZ-Fapicon: , oh, we fucked.

May be remove that thing temporary to avoid bugreports about modding don`t work. ok for test im start my tank mod via launcher
1 mod starts as background
2 mod use mod menu splash but it is resized(even in old 640*480)
3 mod not correctly use gfx, sfx (not loaded tiles, and sounds)
4 mod are not loaded maps, sys folder at all
(logs saved in main game sys folder)
then im try to start my quake mod via launcher
it starts as background and show me intro but then game is crushed without any errors and messages, log is not written
About idea of starting mods via game - i think map editor starts in same way. Did you fix the bug that if you type the same file in the transfer list twice and the player doesn't have it he will download it twice? DC Admin Online

Edit: Will be fixed in 1.0.0.3. What about fixing the linux version bug when your cursor hits your screen boundaries and your cursor get stuck for like 3 seconds before going back to normal state... DC Admin Online
@ xNir: Interesting... I didn't know about this issue. Unfortunately I also have no clue how to fix this. Sounds like a BlitzMax / Linux issue...
btw @ all: This is still the pre-release thread. Please do not post general problems here which already existed in 1.0.0.2 or earlier. There are extra threads for this ( CS2D Bug Reports). I think the changes like the look or camera but it should be polished but this excellent I would like to give some irrasional ideas and I should already put the ideas in the other post but good they should change the music sounds etc as they said we need to be original postdata They do a great job congratulate you SQ Moderator Offline

bad map(my is better), good effects The map itself,is not that bad.But it missing alot of details.I think smn try to make it original not adding a lot of different things.Anyway, nice to see new particle effects. simonas cool is a good job
