Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ better than never.
You`re absolutely right. But what about other aspects? Such as fancy on-square FOW and 64x64 textures?
I might implement 64*64 tilsets and fow after this release it will get more players. Otherwise I won't really bother.
We only have to tell our friends/anyone that the game is being updated. Most peoples are still online at us.de, but not play the game, so updates would bring them for some time.
/btw 1440x990 supports which ratio?
16:9 = 1.77
16:10 = 1.6
4:3 = 1.33
1440x990 is, if you divide (1440/990) = 1.45 so actually something between 16:10 and 4:3
The probably most common resolution these days, 1920x1080, is 16:9. So everyone with such a resolution would benefit from this change. Everyone else would still be able to play the game anyway but see black borders.

To the best of my knowledge 1440x990 does NOT exist and has never existed for external monitor panels.
Do you have a laptop then?

360*640 is just mobile resolution with different DPI.

DC: Oh, i just type 990 incorrectly. It is 900.
Gaming related surveys like steam survey are way more relevant:

Where the most popular primary display resolution is 1920x1080 with 43.23% and even increasing.
btw: Luckily 1366x768 is also very close to a 16:9 ratio
