CS2D General CS2D_0103 - "Bug fixes"CS2D_0103 - "Bug fixes"

I also added an restriction which disallows to run maps made with the new editor in a multiplayer game.
As said in the news on cs2d.com the major reason for this update was the U.S.G.N. change because the U.S.G.N. webserver used in beta 0.1.0.2 was down very often. This situation was so inadequate that I was forced to release this update.

Oh, we didnt have anymore maps section...
And dr 1337, it'll be CS2Dmax (possibly), or simply call it the "new cs2d." I wouldn't call it CS2D-2.
However, seconding your question, I would like to know that all current work on the current CS2D 0.1.0.X beta is complete and most (if not all) programming time for CS2D will be set toward the creation and release of the "new cs2d."
DC, keep up the good work!

I still notice the price of the flare at 200 maybe it charges 150 i dunno but it shows price 200.
it does? thats impossible. the FLARE grenade did never cost 200$. It cost 300$ before. And it now costs 150$ which is displayed correctly.
Probably you just mixed it up with the flash or something. I'm talking about the flare grenade. its the last item of the buy equipment menu.

Yet again, this still does not work. I have experienced what you did change -- when you play a map originally created in the external editor and try to run it, it gives you the message "maps which are created with the external editor are forbidden."
That statement is exactly correct. But you must recognize the one keyword: created. Maps edited with the external editor are still allowed and can be used to wall-hack, etc. As long as a map was initially created using the original in-game editor (this includes all standard maps), you are able to edit it with the external editor, but is still considered a valid map.
I have noticed that the very first line of every map file (if you open the *.map using Notepad/Wordpad) is Unreal Software's Counter-Strike 2D Map File. But a map created OR edited with the external editor is marked Unreal Software's Counter-Strike 2D Map File (max). Isn't there just a simple way to tell the difference between the two originations of maps?
Here are some screenshots as proof/support:
Notice my player is in the wall and shooting out at an enemy.
Again my player is able to go through and shoot through a wall. Also, see the background image is now "blood" instead of "toxic" -- I was able to easily edit the map properties as well.
I don't know what it takes to fix this problem, but I am just informing you (yet again) of its continuous existence.
As I said before I didn't test it.

hold on- does this mean that my map that im working on wont work anymore? I created it with the external editor. Does this mean I have to start using the internal editor?
No.
If you create a map using the external editor or ever get the said error "maps created with the external editor are forbidden," simply go to the internal (in-game) editor, open the map, and click save and quit. Your map will now be saved as an original, working cs2d map.
Go ahead and make a map using the external editor. It will work fine. Just make sure before you play it you quickly save it using the in-game editor.
Hope this helps.
