Hello , someone ddosing happytown of uZ (IRAN TOWN)
when iran town come online agian they ddosing agian so DC can u search and know how to protect CS2D from ddosing please

Unfortunately, the unreal software community can't do anything about this problem even @

DC. Only way to prevent such DoS flood attacks is to tell the owner of this server to use this command to prevent further empty junk UDP packets:

iptables -A INPUT -p udp -m length --length 0:28 -j DROP

This command can be used only for Linux OS based to prevent the empty packets to flood the target server and crashing it.

In short words,

can't do anything because the security of a server is the responsibility of the owner of the respective server.

P.S: We got hundreds of these threads and this title seems a bit generic and too simple...

(just saying anyway)

How about using the search function next time. So might have noticed what to do when this shit happens and also that dc cant do anything except giving tips how to protect your server from those attacks but im not going to repeat it. Simply search for similar topics, you will find the answer yourself.

Although I am beginner in this area I recommend you use the CentOS operating system. About DDoS attacks because the Internet makes testing etc .. you have to be optimistic and never give up.

Stop creating threads about this topic please. Search before posting. It's getting annoying. Please don't force me to repeat myself 10 times a day just because you're too lazy to search.

I cannot help you. This is technically impossible. I'm just developing this game I'm not an internet super hero who can magically protect random servers from everything bad that happens.
