It would be nice to add a command/entity to work with animated sprite sheet - as is done with explosion image or tile animation.
For example, in my game client I use altered images - and they provide a more "realistic" image.
Flare of shot and blood
But this is not the best that can be done, and there is a problem with using the one image (such as flare3) for multiple gaming effects (explosion, flare of shot, the light of a lamp, particles of fire and laser beam).

This one isn't realistic though. It shows the explosion going inwards after actual explosion has occurred. It should fade, like the one under it.
I support the idea nonetheless.

We have much to ask him to do, but why not facilitate and accelerate the implementation of our ideas?

Also I don't think cs2d uses .gifs for any effects, yud have to convert them to b/w sprites

I wonder when we will be able to add to our map and mod different animation effects.
