Everytime, I play in -FULLSCREEN mode I lose like %10 of my display. This is what my screen looks like:

As you can see in the screenshot provided, you cannot see my FPS, BETAVERSION, and a bit of the FONT is cut out of the side menu.

I'm a very competitive player, I need a solution to this problem. I cannot play like this, it's a huge disadvantage.

I'm currently using my T.V as a monitor, I'm guessing that's the cause. But, I've got no idea how to fix it. I've tried a numerous amount of methods.

Help would be much appreciated,
thanks in advance

Try your monitor settings. PC screens have keys to adjust the picture to handle such problems. I'm not sure if all TVs have such keys as well.

Also there might be options to handle this in your video card driver. Take a look at the options you have there.

I sorta had the same problem for CS:GO and I fixed it in the Nvidia graphics settings.
You get there with a right click on your desktop and then you go to the Nvidia control panel (if you have Nvidia).
Just try the 3 different scaling options (?) in the monitor size and position correction menu (?).
Here is a picture of how it looks like.

What is your max screen resolution and is it above 640 by 480?
If it is then try to auto adjust your screen from your monitor settings a few times while moving the mouse in and out of the missing area (worked for me).
If auto adjust doesn't work try to adjust manually.
