hi DC

i was searching in unrealsoftware [a few hours] and downloading useful stuffs
then my "AVAST!" found a virus in my computer
NAMED "WIN:32 VITRO" AND "WIN32:EVOGEN"!

DC i searched all antiviruses and the results.....
>AVAST>>[deleted all viruses (254win32:vitro) even banned the site "unrealsoftware.com]
> ASHAMPO>>[dedected nothing just a evo-gen virus(it was my virus not for site (i think))
> ESET SMART SECURITY>> nothing
>McAfee VirusScan Enterprise>> nothing

• The only exception might be user uploads (file archive). The download page warns you about it. You are downloading and using theses files at your own risk.

Your post is not very helpful because you don't provide the source of the infection. Is it possible to find it? I guess it's already too late at this stage as your whole system seems to be infected already. We can't even be sure that it really was a file from here.

Do you remember which files you downloaded lately (or check your browser history please)? This could help to find a possibly infected file.

I'm sorry about this but I can't do anything without more information.

Btw. "evo gen" isnt a virus. Dont worry avast just gave you a false alarm.

But this "vitro" seems to be a virus. It infects executable files in order to spread itself on computers and network environment. It can also steal sensitive data.

Would be nice if you could give us a list with the files you downloaded until this message appeared.

Scan your PC with anti-virus and anti-spyware tools such as Malware Bytes and SUPERAntiSpyware and see if it can find anything. If it finds dangerous items in the quarantine delete them. Then invoke the command "sfc /SCANNOW" into command prompt as a administrative user and wait for the process to finish verifying your system files. If system files are modified by the virus then Windows will repair itself.

After you can restart your PC and hopefully your PC will be clean from any viruses. If problem persists report back here and someone of us will help you fix the issue. Keep SUPERAntiSpyware installed as it serves as a general spyware/virus detection software and will keep your PC protected afterwards.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!

• Avast (I'm guessing you have the Free Edition) - Advanced SystemCare Ultimate is better.
• Ashampoo - Once again, Advanced SystemCare Ultimate is better (it's an antivirus + cleaning program with loads of features, all in one)
• ESET Smart Security - Why would you need this?
• McAfee VirusScan Enterprise - >tfw people still have anything from McAfee on their PCs
• Rising Antivirus Free Edition - Another crappy free antivirus?

Just get a good AV like ASC Ultimate or one of these pro editions of anti viruses (Komodo, NOD32, etc.) and Malwarebytes Antimalware (you certainly want to install this one, it's free and an excellent virus scanner).
Oh, and never, ever, have two antiviruses installed and running on your PC. When they start conflicting and fucking with each other, don't say I never warned you.

Just be more careful next time where you download your shit from.

Lol you guys don´t understand how that anti-virus sucks really hard, the best in this days is kaspersky internet security 2014 and mabye bit defender 2014 (2nd option).
Check reports ( http://www.av-comparatives.org/ ) and test yourselves.

@kharazminavid try to install the kaspersky internet security and scan.
And give more info about the files.

Anyways, I'm currently using AVG, I know it has its own cons and whatnot, but for me it's great. Looking at the fact that my computer which I've got for more than 4 years is running OK.

@user slimK: I would not say that Kaspersky is the best.

@OP: In the future, I recommend you backing up all your precious files.

I REALLY BELEAVE THAT AVAST IS THE BEST BUT I SAID [avast was the last scan so it mean the other antiviruses have to detect that vitro but they failed!
