English What letters are allowed in cs2d?

Here i found i problem, i want to make my nickname more beautiful, but i don't know what letter can be in it, so i tried to pasle "Ḕ" and "Ἶ" and it doesn't work ("??")
Please help me or do a thread with permissible letters.
I will be very happy if you will.

well qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbn!@#$%^&*(){}[],.<>/\1234567890 are allowed in cs2d and much much more letters ...

CS2D uses UTF-8, right? So I bet that all UTF-8 chars are allowed.

No. CS2D supports utf-8 loading from language files. But it doesn't support transfering that strings. Only first 256 characters are supported.

So actually all 8 bit ANSI ASCII chars with the following restrictions:

- the following substrings will be stripped:
     "*DEAD*"
     "(Radio)"
     "©"

- the following characters are not allowed:
     whitespaces/control sequences (ASCII <32)
     ¦ (ASCII 166)
     , (ASCII 44)
     ; (ASCII 59)
     all chars in the ASCII range 128-160 (inclusive)

- also the game will not allow names which just consist of a number between 1 and 32 and nothing else

Go to start(on windows) open run and type "charmap" most of these should work (windows xp)
windows 7: open start, you see "search programs and files"
type run in that and press enter, type charmap now. Enjoy
