./CS2D: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
This is the output I get when attempting to run CS2D via command line albeit the specific shared object
libsteam_api.so
file is already there in the folder. Copying the said SO file from other Steam games doesn't actually fix the problem. Note that I ran the standalone version of the game. My Linux distribution is Linux Mint 18.3 "Sylvia" 64-bit with a 4.13.0-38-generic version kernel.The bug can be reproduced on the recent version -- 1.0.0.7 (

ohaz: Yes, using the command from your post solves the problem. That means the problem is from my side then... I wonder.

mrc: It is intentional and not CS2D related. Using the copyright character to display the colours for a text message is a bad idea. Use

VADemon: That's the intended behavior and no bug. The game allows you to freely chose a name. It is only set to the Steam name once to avoid that everyone is called "Player" but you're free to choose another one. Actual Steam name of players can be seen by hovering them with your mouse in the scoreboard.

DC: Map was last edited 2 weeks ago and renderdecals is also set to 1

if you start a larg map(1000*1000 or more, maybe less) and you have "Advandced Minimap" enabled, the game crashs with "Exception_acces_violation"

There's a Problem with the Editor's GenFX Entities, Effects like Steam and Smoke, Are not Visible in the Editor, but are Visible In-Game, there's also A Player Shadow Bug, Player shadows Only work When a Skin has a Black Texturebox Background, but It Dosen't work with Pink Texturebox Backgrounds.

If someone start defusing the bomb and I kill the last enemy, I get the MVP by defusing the bomb... lol

mrc: A person who defuses the bomb gets MVP which has a priority over the kills. I wrote pretty much same rules as CSGO has.

Why I get MVP for defusing the bomb if I didnt defuse it? lol Anyway, when you spectate a player and the player get flashed its bugged.

For me it happens when i suddenly click TAB after long time i didn't do that. Is like all avatars are loading or what? It cause a freeze for a while. Is not like what you've got too?

i didnt, but ik its mvp for defusing. what happened is:
a random terrorist started bomb defusing
mrc killed last ct (he didnt defuse bomb)
round ended, mrc is mvp for bomb defuse (he didnt defuse bomb)
idk if u understand, maybe u already did, well idc

Quattro: When you do specific things or just randomly? Close unneeded background tasks, make sure your video card drivers are up to date, try windowed/fullscreen and opengl/directx and vsync on/off.
