I tried to use cs2d cmd damageobject command but I get a message that

ERROR: Unknown command 'damageobject' (damageobject 11 100 1)
Use quotation marks for parameters with blanks. e.g.: mp_unbuyable "Tactical Shield"

Yes it is. I recently added this command to the game because of this thread thread cs2d Damaging a wall by a custom amount.
It is not yet available in the current version but will work with the next release.

I searched but I didn't find this reported before:

cs2d cmd hudtxtalphafade seems to ignore the player parameter and fade for all players always. The hud text that I tried to fade was created with cs2d cmd hudtxt2.

I got same problem as happy camper's, but with command hudtxtmove.

Bug report:
When playing CS2d, all NPC (Soldier) become a red squares with white text on it: "Invalid NPC". It was only 1 round.

Why this happened? What caused it?

I was a server, but @user Infinite Rain: saw it too.

I think that bug occurred since 0.1.2.0. and it also occurs in Headcrabs, Snarks and Vortigaunts.

Okay it looks like editing sys/bans.lst does not unban people even dedicated says "sys/bans.lst is edited outside cs2d. Reloading bans"
im try this on a server that im have full control on it,i ban myself, edit bans.lst to unban my ip, after i save, im still banned

I hope someone not post this before and sorry if not bug

joining a server n then reconnecting after a short time of being on the server, leads to u automatically leaving the server

Even if most of users will vote for "right hand is right!"? Players can get used to many bugs, so this is useless thread. But no, they must be fixed.
Please, fix it or i'll have to create poll.


Bug with using left hand of right-handed players never will be fixed cuz DC simple have no idea how to changte it. I suggest you to use special player skins. Like me.

This has probably been reported millions of times, but was never fixed... damn I miss the us Lab :/.
• If you spawn on armor/kevlar from a supply, you will get that kevlar, but it will stay 0% and you can't buy nor pick up more armor until you die, as it keeps saying "You already have that or better"

Bug when you try saving map then trying to connect to server It will freeze and it wont let you connect to the server

Actually it bugs anything you grab when you spawn on, including grenades and weapons.
Also, if you spawn (and not buy anything), go to a TP entrance and there is a weapon on the exit and you grab it while teleporting, same annoying bug will happen. You'll have to die for it to be fixed.

I just had some problems with cs2d lua cmd item, I'm trying to get players weapon ID but I get constant values.

The bugs are on item(id,"dropped") and item(id,"player"). I'm not sure if I did something wrong in the script, but it that's what I could debug on the console.

@user Starkkz: Your script is wrong. You are printing stuff without even checking if an item belongs to a player. The msg command should be in the place were you currently have the return command.
... but the dropped thing still seems to be bugged then. Note that item(0,"table") only returns dropped items anyway. Your function should print nothing at all.

no. only way would be to memorize the itemtype of the weapon when a player collects it equips it or buys it and give it your own id.

I had this weird thing when testing my server...

When I pick up the enemy flag from its location, it just drops the flag on the same spot and I can't pick it up.

Same thing happens with other CTF maps in my server.

Not sure if it's a bug though, I think this problem has to do with the classes script that I edited.
