In this thread, you share your opinion of the top 7 bands or musicians everyone should listen to. Electronic/rave/club/rap/hardstyle/dubstep should not be considered as music and therefore aren't welcome in this thread. Unless it is Crystal Method (electronic/rave), Pretty Lights (electronic/dance) or Mos Def (rap), but just because they make real music and not the shit YOU are listening to.

Although I do think Skrillex is a nice musician, he should never and I mean NEVER be someone's top artist.

The only reason Simonas, the mod here at US.de, wasn't included in my list is because he is the 8th musician. Not 7th. Or 6th. Or 5th.

Wtf? Even if I don't like rap and hardstyle, I still think they should be considered being music. Why not? I listen to dubstep and electronic from time to time and really can't understand why this should NOT be music.
Btw: nobody ever has to listen to any bands before he dies. I don't know why I should have listened to Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I heard a song of them in the radio once, and I have to say that it hasn't added a bit to my life. It wasn't usefull at all. I don't know the other bands at all, is my life uncompleted now? I don't think so.

EDIT2: @user ohaz: I didn't read your previous post. I think those styles shouldn't be considered music as most musicians of those genres don't have any talent at all. That's a fact.
I don't know about you, bu RHCP have given me a lot. Maybe their music isn't good according to your tastes.
