[EDIT] Just wondering, for what do you want those GIFs? Looks kinda like site/forum ranks. If so, then think about people reading a thread with scrolling GIF on every post. A short advice.

You can use Gimp to edit or make or whatever. A gif file is usually a bunch of seperate images put into 1, just like a filmstrip. Once you have the pattern of which they will show, you can put it into 1. Sorry for bad explamation.
