M2TW Error

M2TW Error

I get this error when i open Medieval 2 - Total War(Without expansion pack).
"Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecfied error and will now exit."
I searched solutions but i couldn't find usefull one so i decided to try my luck in here

Anybody know how to fix?

They obviously didn't read this.

Bad error messages are generally placed when the game has a VERY fatal error. I'd try reinstalling, there are lots a reasons why this might have happened:

     -minimum requirements not met
     -not ran as administrator
     -pirated copy
     -game files missing

I can confirm that aint the issue .I also got it by ... err... friends cd and it was working fine. Restored my pc few monts ago and got another cd and it was working also fine.
Btw those cd's were the most popular in our street.

sorry for missing info but i tested my pc on "can you run it" and it passed on min.

I have no idea about CYRN.

CPU: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N455 @ 1.66GHz
RAM: 1.0 GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit
Video Card: Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
also enough hard disk space.
Also my pc has very low resolution.
