By the way, I hate when people call hardstyle/techno or whatever hardcore.
There is NOTHING hardcore in that shit.
Listen to Asking Alexandria to know what real hardcore is.

True Story Asking Alexandria for sure is great. My favourite music band
And I fucking hate when people think "hardcore" is just that rock/metal whatever.
Hardcore can be lots of things.
When people say hardstyle is hardcore, they are in a way correct because they are referring to the sub-genre of techno, hardcore techno. Hardcore is just harder than hardstyle.
This is a nice example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkK2cGRWGAo
LET ME HER YOU SCREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAMMMMM
"Hardstyle"
Not even kind of music, it's just a dream of kids who think it's cool to call random shit "hardstyle".
Dream? Kids? Ahahah, what you described there is mainstream dubstep and pop.
You probably listened to D-Block & S-te-Fan, they don't make hardstyle, they make nu-style. They call it hard but it's mainstream. Then some people confuse it with kid music. Fucks sake.
@ medeiros: Hardcore was from it's very beginning as a musical style a genre of rock/metal. Techno has NOTHING to do with it.
Oh, and by the way if we are talking about best songs and shit.
John Frusciante. The greatest musician of the current era and much more talented than DJs who STEAL other artists music, edit it with terrible computerized beats and make shit out of it.
YouTube his songs:
The Past Recedes (which I finally learned to play with the solo :D)
Anne (with electric guitar solo written by Omar Rodriguez Lopez)
Hope
Dying (or Dying Song)
