Well, i would chose MW3, especially because of the PS3 x Xbox 360. I played the BF3 beta, and you can't barely due to that shitload of bugs. I know it's beta, but I'm very disappointed with Battlefield 3
I have been a Call Of Duty fan for a long time and same for Battle Field series but I have to go with Call Of Duty. Sorry to any Battle Field fans out there.
Well im going with BF3 since its the most realistic retail MP game to date "not counting the ARMA series of course"
The only thing that sucks is that it has no mod support since DICE wants to keep its new engine and what not secret from its competition as long as possible
We the mod community will eventually crack it so fear not but its going to be a pain in the ass.
I still prefer playing far more realistic mods for BF2 and ARMA 2 made by the black sands studio who made and are constantly improving Project Reality for BF2 and just recently released a PR open beta mod for ARMA 2 >:3
Its much more tactical and team oriented with RTS elements unlike mainstream games that are cheap arcady run and gun noob fests.
For the record im only going to buy :most likely will rent tho" MW3 for the campaign only its multiplayer game modes are way to fucked up in the realism department and also way too easy for anyone. Just take no real skill for Money Wasted on MP MP also gets way to repetitive too fast and lets not forget the lack of any real team work and tactics.
Ofc. Battlefield, CoD is same shit from CoD2 to actual CoDX, it's annyoing, same shit for these years, with same engine.
Battlefield is espiecially something realistic, and something really awesome, with other engine that dat CoD shit, and better gameplay, campagain is also much better, not boring and there's alot of action, and also fun (BCII, awesome jokes of Bad Company : D).

You almost make it sound as if Battlefield hasn't been doing the same thing.
There are currently 20 games in the Battlefield series and Call of Duty currently has about 8+ (I'm excluding the handheld versions from this) pretty much follows the same way as an NFL, Madden or FIFA game.
