true, hey if DC made a fund for an anti-cheat system, would you donate? Ofcourse if thats possible
Nah, as DC said: there's always a way. welcome to the internet.
I added that in vkontakte favorite quotes, because its 110% true, vkontakte is something like russian facebook xd
If anyone saw JanK's post, there is an anti-cheat available.
@Yates, obviously you wouldn't be willing to give out money for a tournament; meaning you wouldn't fit the job.
There's no 100% working and effective anti cheat that can be used, yes there are a few but owners won't share it. And the money-prize won't help much since most people won't be able to receive that money since they are under-aged.
PCS does use an anti-cheat and makes you use default skins, tiles instead of things like "laser skins". If you don't have it on, then you wouldn't be able to participate.
Official tournament or not, who would fund this thing? 50$ prizes sounds nice, but I don't think it's necessary. Many tournaments in the Brazilian and European regions have pulled it off.
The anti-cheat works like an injection you put into cs2d I think.
Yeah...
Oh what if eweryone where watched by an admin throw team viewer?ah... Right never mind.
I just suggest to make nice videos about cs2d to attract attension. Or making more weapons in cs2d, we could use a grav gun, or a crowbar...
You won't get anything better than Calibre's tournament. But it was awesome, except summer time and problems with anti-cheat program, which resulted in unexpected break, or end of tourney right before the greatest matches...
To have a stable ranking system with stats and tourneys for bonus points and other cool things, DC definitely would have to make "premium accounts" with charge for server costs and managing. But it is a hard work to keep improving everything and attracting people...
