Please read patient: add a Semi carbine a kar89 or m1garand you get the point a WW2 rifle it would be cool to have a rifle that make's 50 or 75 dmg , "only pickup" for some nice rifle killing maps or d-day , Stalingrad etc. i think it would be awesome cause we dont got any such rifle. Reply and u DC 2 Jynxxx: Elaborate, why would it be an awesome piece of equipment? It offers protection from a weapon only obtainable via console commands - it would only be reasonable to make it obtainable via console only, why would you buy something in buy menu that won't do you any good on standard servers? (cause that's the only place one uses the buy menu.)As for the rest of the servers - Lua and console.
EngiN33R: Well, some people just buy the Night Vision for nothing also, they buy it for style :D. Well it can be to good for the buy menu, Like people with the console commands can also cheat with it. They can always have it when the gas grenade is used quite often. So, i suggest it is in the buy menu. Hopefully it would be put in the next version of cs2d. Or all of this ("argument") was for nothing.

lasers give you an advantage because you see enemies earlier (because you see the laser). it's like cheating.

They can still be edited to be as long as the 1st one which is really unfair. Files should be as big as 32x32, letting 'cheaters' make lasers just as long as an AWP which would be quite 'harmless'.
Ok... but how to make RPG in 32x32 pixels?
I could make different size limits for different weapons but I'm not going to do that because the advantage is minimal with that few pixels difference. situations were you actually get an advantage with weapons which are just a few pixels bigger are very rare.
and to everyone who complains about the gas mask: you have too much time. you will only face gas masks on maps where it has been placed or on servers with certain scripts. you can't buy them and you also can't buy gas grenades. there is no reason to complain about it.

Also, players have to press 'e' to pick up weapons, because it sucks to pick up a god damn flare in the middle of a fire fight...
You can (and should) disable "switch to picked weapons" in the game options menu. That's how I've been playing since like.. always
