I want to know if its possible to create a lua with the following
When the player picks up a standard kevlar vest or buys one it would equip the light armor or a sprite.
The light armor would be their only for visial effect while the kevlar will retain its default function.
When the kevlar is depleted then the light armor or sprite would de equip it self.
It would be the same concept with the Kevlar & helmet & the medium armor/sprite.
Im planing to implement such a script for my CS:S 2D mod. Admin/mod comment

ya of course that's possible... you'll have have to use the image functions + mask out pink + gfx/weapons/lightarmor.bmp alright thx flood
& also mod calm down the thread is posted in the lua scripts section so thus its a question about lua it should be a no brainer >>
Least im assuming thats why DC split up the threads into different sections like say lua scripts & maps & mods.
The only threads that should have detailed tiles are for the general section since they can be about anything. DC Admin Offline

imagine everyone here would name his thread "question". it would be absolutely confusing and you would never ever find what you are searching for.
I doesn't matter in which section you are. you need a good and unique title which describes the content - in each section.

On topic, I think someone already did something similar. really? did they post it for DL yet or is it part of a larger custom lua? Well, there was a certain server.. can't recall the name though. You were getting a dark gray vest, every time you bought a kevlar. J4x User Offline
