I was talking about the particular threat that had arrived concerning random PM's with viruses attached... Meaning, unreal software is no longer plagued by that virus... right?

well.. that's correct unless the people behind this find another way to distribute the malware.
e.g. sending mails / instant messenger messages with the link, creating threads or uploading the malware as file to the file archive (of course they would use stolen accounts for that..)
it's actually a problem of careless users. For some reason, when I think of a user receiving a PM from someone, and opening it up, and downloading the link...
I think of the saying... "Curiosity killed the cat"...
But, I thought you (DC) and TKD checked all the uploaded files for viruses? DC has written

Someone contacted me via MSN (the one I use for CS2D-related stuff, not my personal one) indeed with what was probably a file containing a virus.

The files aren't uploaded here but on file-sharing websites such as mediafire DC Admin Offline
files are online instantly. it's possible that users download the files before they have been checked.
that's why there is a warning message at the download page when you download user created files from the file archive... i wish nobody comes to screw up my pc DC Admin Offline

if you are banned because of that reason:

it's not dangerous unless you are stupid enough to download and execute strange exe/bat files which are sent to you randomly as link in pms... i dont have any message right now... I dont have/sent any message by any hacker/malware/unnamed_hacker or what its called ... I've read the whole thread/topic, 5 pages... and I hope that no one sends malware via links through PM or by use of the file section, no one wants malware with the files that they download. I pity the fool!
Yet I've not been here when this occured, so I've not caught the infection by the modification mentioned in this thread, I apologize for not reading the thread accurately and accusing the biggest cs2d hacker of them all (uPraTe6), ah well.
To the rescue...
If anyone caught this "Dropper.Generic (trojan)" infection or similar then scan using a anti-virus programme that can detect the threat/malware and remove it from your PC. I prefer using AVG anti-virus for this because it can detect many types of different new threats.

your dropper gen trojan came from a hack called funZhack get it ok? it have being sended to many sites It's Obvios (is that how you spell it?) that this Malware/hacker is fond of CS2D, So the uploads section would be OK, if you don't download CS2D stuff, although, he might find ways around it.
So i have a solution that may or may not work, but it's worth a try. After EVERY SINGLE download, scan your computer. I suggest 'Trend Micro' for that because of it's excellent threat detection. If you can't afford it, go with AVG. DC Admin Offline
that's not necessary if you have a good scanner. good scanners scan downloads (and even the zip archive contents) automatically. I have Malware Anti-Malware ... then iam not scared I signed up I went to the admin msndende CS2D usgn Chapter of approved and filled the top portion of the password, but still no dio Logis status Admin/mod comment
