You should have said something like "In my opinion anime sucks / I do not like anime". The way you said it made it look just like a statement. If it is an opinion then say so. I put it separately. I watched the Final Fantasy 7 and think it's probably more like a movie. This is my first anime that I watched.
Because of him, I also took the same name of the game FF7 (PSone).

It also depends on the type of anime you watch. Personally im more into the higher quality animes like GITS, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Howls Moving Castle exc. as these are really modern works of art in my opinion.

In a way the only animes fans that really have no life are the ones who get sucked into the new gen generic crap thats essentially the same as last years anime but repackaged and with new characters. These anime no longer qualify as art since they lack any real originality in either the art style & or with the story it self.

As for the opinions thing Time pretty much hit the nail on the head so to speak.

The only anime that is my favorite is One Piece, Naruto, Special A, and Bleach. Forgot to mention : Cowboy Bebop and Lucky Star. LOL.
