This is some project i decided to make, is more for personal pourpouse but i think other people could enjoy it too.

Mod Intro: (Words from Bioshock)
"I am Andrew Ryan, and I am here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? No, says the man in Washington, it belongs to the poor. No, says the man in the Vatican, it belongs to God. No, says the man in Moscow, it belongs to everyone. I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, where the great would not be constrained by the small, and with the sweat of your brow, rapture can become your city as well..." -Andrew Ryan

FAQ:
Q:About what is this Mod?
A:Is about the game Bioshock.

Q:Why a Visual Mod?
A:Because i dont know nothing about Lua code and i am not a programer.

Q:What is Rapture?
A:Rapture is a massive underwater city, forged by the personal dreams of Andrew Ryan, to escape from the political, social, and religious anxieties of a post-World War II world. It was established on November 5, 1946 and finished in late 1951. It is located at 63° 2' N, 29° 55' W, which places it at about 433 kilometers west of Iceland's capital, Reykjavik.

Q:Why this is not in "Custom Maps and Stuff" Post?
A:Because is not completed.

Q:You made those tiles?
A:No, all the tiles are from a mobile game. i just rip the full map of the levels, cut, paste, edit, edit, and more edit and then i made the tilesets.

Q:When you launch your RCW Mod can i make maps with it?
A:Yes you can.

Q:When is going to be released?
A:Whe is done.

ScreenShots: (Remember that the VMod is not 100% done)

This looks very dedicated and organized. √
I'd like to see singleplayer missions based on this game of which you are making a mod of - the basics of singleplayer maps don't need any Lua knowledge.

From what I can get out of the info and screenshots, it looks promising, and I wish you good luck with this vmod.

yes, roni is right.

the tiles you took from that mobile game are nice but they simply have the wrong perspective which leads to a weird look.

it's both top down, but in CS2D it's STRAIGHT top down. these tiles are not for a straight top down perspective. they are made for another top down angle which allows you to see the sides of objects. this is impossible in CS2D perspective. you always only see the up side of objects (except for flags because they would be very hard to see in a top down perspective)

the way you mix the perspectives ruins the overall look of this visual mod. you should make your own tiles with the right perspective instead of stealing tiles from a game which is using another perspective...

A:Because i dont know nothing about Lua code and i am not a programer.

should be clear enough that this means: no lua scripts!

Wooow. Great. Stealing tiles and level design from a mobile version of a full game.

Things you'd better do:

- Delete all those shit fake 3d maps
- Find/Steal/Make a better tileset
- Create your own maps, don't just steal stuff
- Don't steal the weapons graphics too please..
- Search for a scripter and/or mapper and/or skinner to help you with the project.
