hey, is there a way i can turn cs2d particles off? because my pc isn't big thing, and everything like rain, snow makes cs2d real slower to my pc (it's very old)
and i wanna play servers. is there a way i can turn snow or rain off for my computer? so i can play with no lags. thanks
If you mean that you want to start a game (with bots) , yes you can particles off by remove the weather form cs2d editor.
but if you wan to join a server have rain/snow and its lag you and you want to remove it , no you cannot put it off
It will make them invisible but you will probably not get a better performance with this.
this is actually a problem I should care about (by adding a setting for that). even though some guys will start to cry now because it will make their "snowy protection" stuff even less effective...
Nope nothing cant stop the snow protection or rain protection.. u must find the weather and delete it.
Btw it says 1-30 max snow but you can put like 10000
Holy s**t! You are right! I tried it and CS2D crashed in 10 seconds or so.
If DC did implement this setting, anyone can stop the invincible snowy protection, hopefully.
Besides, your stuff cannot be 100% safe. Right?

should agree with this, why does people need protection on their map? there's nothing special.

I did one of the most played maps in all cs2d, hundreds of players have played "Escape del virus K" and my other maps as "Double DeathRun" and "Desafios Desconocidos", if someone were to steal, would have all the credit of my effort.
We need that Protection.
We don't need that, YOU need a map protection. A map protection that can be hacked even easier than the snowy stuff. A map protection that won't be worth the extra bytes the map file will have.
The easiest solution would be to make a script and trigger stuff from there.

but DC 1 thing about snow protection is map stealers is that they steal a map add this protection claim the map and say that they did it although thats a total lie! i recommend "just a though" a setting in the editor that can put on or off! thats all i say becouse i had 3 maps stolen like that
