I'm wondering how do I port my custom made map from CS2D version 0.1.1.3 over to the newer CS2D version 0.1.1.4 ?
Thank you 4 the help ! just copy the maps you want and paste into the next 114 folder COmpaQ, indeed have already tried that approach. The map is in the map folder but my CSD2 editor pops a window "cant find the map" if i try to load it, any idea why that is? DC Admin Offline
you must have done something wrong - but I don't know what exactly.
however maps of cs2d 0.1.1.3 are 100% compatible with 0.1.1.4. maps. thank you for the quick response and help ! DC, do the custom tiles for that custom map need to be moved as well into the gfx for a map to be ported.
ps. Do the cutom tiles in any way desturb the compatibility for the old version of the map to work on the newer version of the game?
Thank you for help! does the map uses cs2dnorm.bmp tileset? bcause cs2dnorm havent changed nothing Hi ! chuico123, thats a good point... no my created map dose not use cs2dnorm.bmp tilset! the map is using my own custom made tilset.
Maybe the problem is that the CS2D needs its cs2dnorm.bmp tiles in its original form and should not be tampered with. you have to copy your custom tileset too, otherwise the map wont load
