I'm checking the site about 2 times a day, hoping that a new version came out.
I didn't see this beeing against the rules 
I heard DC sayd that zombies will have new abilities in the next version, and since they're bad right now, I just can't wait to try it out 
So can DC give an estimated release date?

there is NO estimated release date. DC NEVER tells you when a new version comes out, because he can't. He never knows how much he likes to work every day...
so there is none.
About zombies:
Next version will be scriptable with Lua, so you can script the zombies better DC Admin
