So you need a modern PC that's running the Dedi
Also you need your players to be as close as possible to the server.
I speedtest my connection at www.speedtest.net and I have 20 MBPS connection in my Wireless Network...
However a player from Germany got 200+ ping in my server which is hosted in the US.
So I think it's a problem with the server computer.
moreover it is very normal that people from another country have a bad ping because of the distance. all messages have to be routed over several pcs which leads to a high ping. you can't fix a high ping caused by a high real world distance.
BTW the server is run from the mother computer. This computer is the one actually hooked up to the Cable connection

of course, if your fps are that bad, that your pc doesn't send ping signals no more, your ping gets bad. but normally your ping doesn't have anything to do with your fps!

Doubt anyone would waste a 50gbps line on an old computer, doubt a 50gbps is even leasable to regular consumers, plus even if it is not very many would be able to afford it.
even i know, that normal people don't even have the chance to get 50gb/s lines at the moment
