any idea how much time to end it?
like... 3 months or more?
We are still working on the alpha version and are lacking lua scriptwriters. We cant have starkkz code the whole dam game along with the NPCs that would be over kill.
NTD is out of his country atm so is unable to work until he gets back.
I'm still passively working on my Skin pack as well as some maps on my spare time but yea the pack isn't ready yea as im still eliminating graphical bugs and what not.
It will still take some time before im dose since unlike other skin packs mine is original, decent quality, and basically im reskining EVERYTHING so its alot of work.
Hell I still have to make my HL top down 3D like office complex tiles that I started awhile back. unlike other tiles mine depict the walls from a top down angle similar to what you would see by no clipping in Half Life and looking at the walls from the top but at a slight angle so as to see the wall, window, & door details.
is this gonna be opposing force too, or ONLY half life?
Later on we will add both Blue Shift and Opposing Force. This is why my pack reflects these future plans.
The main characters that may or may not be used are as follows.
Gordon Freeman as CT-1
Barny Calhoun as CT-2 (pretty much the generic BM security guys as well)
Adrian Shepard as T-1 (also the generic gas mask grunt)
And here are the specified armor pick ups for them.
Kevlar/Kevlar & Helmet = B.M. Security Kevlar/Kevlar & Helmet with sprites. (de equips when depleted)
Regular armor = HECU Powered Combat Vest with backpack
Medium armor = H.E.V. Mark 4 suit
The players will also have unarmed states IE when the campaigns st map starts they will spawn with the zombie claw equipped as the zombie pose will be the character standing normally and unarmed. The claw is only de equipped when the player picks up a weapon.
If the player is unarmed and picks up a armor then a sprite overlays the unarmed players pose until the player picks up a weapon.
For example is the 1st map where Gordan spawns inside the tram he is equipped with the claw and his player pose is Gordon standing unarmed in his white lab coat.
When he picks up the HEV MK-4 a sprite of the HEV in the unarmed standing pose covers the player. When the player picks up the crowbar "knife" drop sprite the claw and unarmed HEV sprite de equip reverting the players pose to the default armed pose were Gordan already has his HEV suit.
Its complicated to describe but it will be all done with lua and really wont hamper game play as it will only be for the 1st couple maps and partly for when Gordon wakes up in the Garbage disposal unit after he gets ambushed and knocked out later on after surface tension if I remember correctly.

However if you try to play as any of the HECU marine on the T side then it may break certain maps and scripts from the Half Life and Blue Shift campaigns and vise versa with playing as CT characters on the Opposing Force maps.
But as stated above we are mainly focusing on recreating the original HL1 campaign before we move onto adding Blue Shift and Opposing Force.
i think will be single player and multiplayer like co-op maps...
subtransist,crossfire,bounce etc.
I hope you guys will finish it.

Usigor_rus and I are the last 2 active members of the dev team atm. Im still playing around with maps and my 3D versions of my HL gfx pack tho right now im busy with preparing for my GED test on December 6th and 7th so yea
