You can either do what DC said or you can buy the Cyborg R.A.T 7 ( 150$US ) which has button-adjusted speed/sensitivity.
Or you can buy other mouses with a more less price. And still 3200dpi.

Yes, Flood's right, Logitech's mouses or mice (don't know the correct form of the plural for the clicking thing) are the best and not very expensive. Also you can try 4Tech, but don't choose the ball-models because they are manufactured quite deplorable. But the optical models work fine.
that's for optimal precision i.e. one pixel on mouse's sensor = one pixel on screen
