Being stuck is normal. You're stuck till the other player is connected (so that you can't get an unfair advantage / the map doesn't get asynchronous)

I mean, how does the other player get connected? I can start the game but my sister can't join it... I don't know how to open ports or to do whatever I'm supposed to do so she could see my game in multiplayer.exe...
If she just klicks the "join" -button, nothing happens.

One of you starts server.bat
The other edits connect.bat (rightclick -> edit) and replaces the IP which is shown there with the LAN IP of the other. Save and start. Now both of you need to start the same map as singleplayer.

Tell me this: If she starts server.bat and starts a game, I edit my connect.bat, I save and start, do I start my game also from server.bat or connect.bat or where...

The mp shooting range map loads to 95% at scripts. Then freezes and locks up my computer every time.
It succesfully synced with one player and it worked perfectly, but another player was invisible but could still affect stuff like cut down trees.
Also, alot of stuff was in German instead of English for some reason.

People also seem to get that error randomly for the default maps.
Some people can't connect to my server, while it's fine for others.
If you die, the only thing you can do is load an autosave or quit the server.
There are some sync issues with players that lag.

For some reason, whenever a player downloads a map from the server it always says different map version.

that happens because the server doesnt send the map the map to the one who joins the game.
it just checks whether there already is a map with the same name.
to play random maps you have to start one in singleplayer mode, save it, send it to the other player (ICQ, MSN or something like that) and then start it in multiplayer mode.
(that works because the whole map is included in a the save-file.)

this problem should be easy to solve but Oraclefile and Royalflash just didnt implement the function to revive automatically.
