But... I wonder how can you make teleporters work? Maybe you need to build a two of them, or if you build just one, you go "Select tile" mode.

It will probably lead to much lag and crashing of CS2D.

Pity about the Portal Gun, though. Could be used to teleport over deadly tiles... I was thinking "CHEAP" during the whole Portal Gun demonstration. xP
Awesome trip mines... But if it was from one side of the map [50 tiles?], would a person that triggers it at the other side of the map get killed?

the beam is limited to some tiles (as you can see in the video). same counts for the explosion/damage.

1) Is there any way for an opponent to close them e.g. an enemy opens one up in your base. If not it would probably be better to have it close on death (but that could just be a server setting).

Laser Mine
1) Can you shoot/grenade them to destroy them,
2) What happens if you place a mine on a wall/door then lower it before it activates, floating mines?
3)What happens if someone is standing in the way when it activates? Does the mine auto-detonate/detonate the moment they move/ignore them...

@horus: narrow halls. that's the place where you use laser mines. it's intended that way and therefore no abuse

portal gun:
1) you are absolutely right. I'll make portals close on death.

laser mine:
1) can be destroyed with explosives only. shooting doesn't work.
2) the mine permanently checks if it is still "connected" to a wall. otherwise it explodes. even if it is not activated yet. this makes floating mines impossible.
3) it explodes instantly on activation if someone stands in the beam during activation. even without movement

I just decided to do it without reading/remembering any of your suggestions..
