CS2D Player GFX Template
28 comments A new player gfx template for CS2D for users who want more realistic player graphics.
The template has gloves, helmet, body armor, and even bends in the arms.
Hopefully this will encourage people to make more realistic player graphics (as using Photoshop or Paint.Net as opposed to Microsoft Paint to do things like overlay camo patterns over the tan parts). Also, hopefully this will help avoid people modifying my COD4 MW player graphics w/o permission.
My ultimate hope is that this will become a new standard template.
As you may recognize, the reload sprite is different from the standard CS2D sprites. This is because, realistically, a soldier would NEVER remove his firing hand from off of his rifle. To put it simply, he would reload with his non-firing hand. CS2D has right-handed players reloading with the right hand and left-handed players with the left. Real soldiers wouldn't do this. So I changed it.

As Pwnisher said, it's a template. A basic shape, if you will. It's for other people to add detail. It's for other people to use as a starting point for making their own sprites. A template.
I dont like the color, put more details at the skin, the helmet hands its ok,make lines and more details
I actually don't know THAT much about making sprites. I know I'll sound dumb, but what's a shading template? Like shadows?
@Zeroarcanus Yeah, I know. But it's mainly for sprite makers, not DC. Now, if DC ever wants to use it... Does DC accept other people making replacements... I mean, all he'd have to do is overwrite it with something someone else makes.

Awesome, I like the choice of colors as well. Enough to motivate me on working at some player skins, although that's something I particularly suck at.
No, you do not have to credit me to use the template. If you want to credit the template itself, like put a link to it whenever you make some sprites, that'd be ok. But you don't have to credit antoine flemming. And, it's a template. I want you to edit it. I should probably update the pics as the template is changed a little from the pics (made the firing hand larger)

Perfect template...
Really amazing.
If I used this template for my skins do I have to credit you?
Also can I edit it?
