! Today I'd like to present you my newest creation, this time its gonna be a Capture the Flag map (designed specially for CONSTRUCTION mode battles). This is another tribute map, and this time it is a tribute to the good old game Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (Im sure most people from the 90s played it, or at least heard of it) actually this is the reason why there are flying carrots on the background. I was carrying the idea of creating a map like this for a long time, but havent had any opprotunity or even enough skills. Anyways, now its here and lets see what I can offer you on this map:
Its a 75 x 78 map The map is not symetrical unlike many other ctf maps, but I thought that It might be more fun if each team would develope their own tactics on how to defend and steal the flag. The tileset is a hardly modified default aztec tileset created by it's own respected author. The drawings on the walls and floor are real mayan symbols with their own meanings (Google "Mayan Glyphs"). The theme of the map is completely weird and crazy. Its a mixture of some kinda temple, mayan drawings and flying carrots! trololo... As usual I used some very nice, ear-candy SFXs from my favorite source "Quake III Arena" There are some special items in the center of the map like gas grenade, mine, laser mine and others that appear only in certain periods of time.Anyways, download the map, play and enjoy!
