Hey all readers.Im having a terrible unknown error.
Just when i want to launch counterstrike2d.exe (newest version) it starts to load it,screen becomes black,and suddenly closes...
How to solve this problem? (.bat files same error)
I have installed DIRX 10,have GFORCE 7600GT, 2.2GHZ of pc,and 1.2 GB RAM.
What ideas do you have? Admin/mod comment

Seriously what do you think? i tried all those links in CS2D folder,It dont launch ..starts loading and drops me 
have u tried to open in cs2d folder?

Next, I want you to do a resolution test. Go to the display settings of your computer (property on desktop or personalize-> display setting on vista) and give me the following information:
Default resolution
All Available resolution (test them individually to see if they work), especially 640x480
Refreshrate
DX7 compatibility
OpenGL compatibility
Also give me the last known update for the Geforce 7600 card since there's a compatibility problem with the older drivers that do not render properly at any resolution lower than 800x600 Here it is:
My rez : 1280x1024 @ 32 bit
Available : 800x600 , 960x600,1024x768,1088x612,1152x864,1280x720,
1280x768,1280x800,1280x960,1280x1024
Refresh rate : 75mhz [its my monitor max]
Dx7 and opengl compability: they all work on other games.
About nvidia drivers. I bought card from shop and i have cd,so i installed drivers from cd that are compatible for my card,but on the internet nvidia provides other for me..newer one.
I had windows reinstal 2 days ago in order to get that game worked.I reinstalled them,updated drivers direct x but it dont work still..So what i want to say that it could be drivers bad (nividia),what do you think ? Lee Moderator Offline
Problem solved.
CS2D's Default resolution is 640x480. the 7600 driver currently do not support that resolution so here's the fix.
Go to the launcher.exe, change the resolution to 800x600, click create bat file for launching. Then click start. This should fix the problem but if not, come back again. Not if still drops me .. any other ideas?i want to play that game ;\ Aj COMMUNITY BANNED Offline
Upgrade your directx for starters get a new video card the 7 series is out of style. get a cheap 8 series itll do twice the work of your old card blah blah blah and thats all i got. graphic card for cs2d?:) lol
no,others version worked for me i found something drivers for nvidia maybe it helps.It says that :

I have just made my windows reinstal ,installed dir x 9.0c,but it dont launch anyway c'mon stylas, doubleposts aren't allowed, you made triple post. You can use edit function to change or extend your posts. You not only CAN, you HAVE TO. Otherwise it's not unlikely that you will be banned from this forum sooner or later. I had this graphics error problem too, stylas. And I still have lol. But I know how to fix it... listen closely buy a new graphics card afterwards put the old one on the shelf, alternatively go and throw it out at the nearest closest window you can find.
After you've put the new graphics card in, there should be DirectX or some programs with the uhm package the graphic card came in. If not, download some drivers on the net. Then try installing them, and click and start CS2D max again.
A 16mb graphic card is required to play CS2D max, but if possible and if you have the cash buy/purchase a better one.

It will cost you money that's the fact, so if you really want to play CS2D max you have to buy that graphic card. Hahahhaah

Okay. I see a problem. The problem is not in graphic card, and also not in ram or cpu speed.
I really have not any idea what causes this kind of problem. But I know about computers.
I assume that nVidia Geforce 7600GT runs cs2d max very well.
Also cpu speed is great and ram is enough.
Even nVidia 7600GS can run CS:source. 
It depends on many things of could you buy a new graphic card or not. Okay first one is: depens what kind is motherboard, how old is computer, what kind of ports you have on your mother board, (I mean these ones PCI, AGP or PCI-e) And when you are buying the new graphic card, you should check supported ram. (dd1, ddr2 or ddr3)
DirectX 10 or greater is greated just for Vista. You should not to try install any older series of Directx.
If cs2d max is not stable on Vista? DC Admin
