Although Builder2-0 said that no one should release a modified Massive Mod.

But I still want to share this to those who likes to play Stranded II and Massive Mod.

I'm not going to steal anything!
I love Massive Mod and the credit is surly belongs to Builder2-0.
I only modified something to make game more fun.

Base on MassiveMod 27th Aug. 2011

*Add Sat.phone to make an ending for random map.
Now you can make a phone call to go home and ends this random map.

*Steel tools have prefix.(ex. Steel Axe)
*Random Hard will surly has at least one raptor's nest, one eagle nest and one lion stone.
*Random maps surly have 2 NPCs, pirate and prof.(for sat.phone)

bugs fixed
*changes of finding underground water.
*big cooking pot
*water distriller
*bamboo for campfire
*make waterskin by rope and skin
*find a spring by steel spade, now will unlock water bump as iron spade

And sorry for my bad English.

Here is the link.

Using the latest version, I think, courtesy of shnutzer since the links on pg. 90 don't work. (first link downloads a corrupted zip file; second link just downloads a downloader) Installed to it's own directory, not over base S2 installation, as instructed. No files replaced or edited, except some texture files I imported from another mod. (trees, stones and animals, just object/unit textures, no items)

Anyways, I'm having an issue with cooking and smithing. Fire consumes fuel, food cooks and iron turns soft only after sleeping. Cooking and smithing work perfectly on random island mode, I'm only having this issue on a custom map I made.

I've try on my WinXP SP3 and Win7SP1 X64, it works fine.
Builer2-0 should add the win7 fix already.
Maybe you can try to run it with WinXp cap. mode?
And set the graphic to min. then try to run again in normal way?

Try this patch file.
Just unzip to your massive mod and overwrite.(Don't forget to backup your copy)
This only has the pictures and all *.inf, since I'm not so sure which file I've modified.

Dear kk0114:

Thank you. I downloaded your version. Good improvements. I specially like the idea of a cellphone to place a call out and end the game. In the one island I played (largest & hardest mode) the Prof. was surrounded by several lions and one raptor, and even though I knew where he was, I actually never made contact with him (because I stopped the game on day 15 after I discovered a glitch, see below).

I had a problem that I don;t remember encountering before, but I may have read something about it. Somehow I got extra chocolate dough a couple of times, I am not sure how. It sounds like a nice glitch, but I hate when the games cheat for me. Could you look at that please?

Builder! wtf r u?

Hey, I'm having some issues with downloading the mod. The two links on the first page lead to a 'corrupt file' of some sort, and I cannot access the files inside.

The second leads to a 'down' site, and takes you to some petition website about a piece of legislature.

Is there another link that I could use? I re-e-eally want to give this mod a spin!

Downloaded! Can't wait to dig in. I hope Builder returns soon. I would like to find out what's up his sleeves.

Edit: Love it! The grill and the forge are a much needed element in the game. It adds realism, which is great.

I did run into a few snags, however.

The first is cooking with a grill. I can cook meat just fine, but when the meat is finished, I can't pick it up sometimes, so I'm forced to use the 'U' key. Not a bad thing, but I thought that it'd be worth mentioning.

The second is the Survivor skill. It gives me the 'One Week' level, but the skill points say otherwise, with 60 points being reached at the one week mark instead of 70. Again, probably worth mentioning.

Other than that, so far so good! I hope to see more from this mod later on down the road!

Hey so, I've been playing stranded on and off for a while, and then suddenly I found this mod and I'm really pumped about it. The only problem is that this mod seems SO massive, and there seems to be changelogs all over the place, and I can't figure out which ones are recent.

Is there a readme somewhere, or better yet, a tutorial that I don't know about? The original game had a walkthrough, does this mod have something like that?

Also, it seems like every time I generate a random map, there's resources missing. And what are the two pre-made maps in the package?

I dunno. Maybe I'm just whining and I should just play. But maybe not. Someone hit me back.

This mod has a lot of potential to be fun if it actually had a tutorial on how to use new features (e.g. cooking, forging).

I still haven't figured out how to properly cook meat or how and where to build a forge.

HELP.
