I can't sleep, it always says that I am too hungry or thirsty. It let me once, and now no matter what it keeps telling me I'm too hungry/thirsty even though I'm not.

Same with me.Can't sleep.Anyways in the adventure mode the other portals don't work.Only the default works

I can confirm that the sleep error is still in the new version of massive mod. The script fix on page 67 is still valid though so anyone still having problems can use this fix.

I've found a new error. When you want to make your own map with map editor. All the land becomes flat. And when i want to quit map editor, the screen resolution changes. So i can't make my own map.

you didnt fix the sleep problem. its still there. i dont know what possibly made you think it was fixed.

also, i have a question. why are the random maps always so bland? theres just wide open spaces of nothingness. no trees, no resources, just plain nothing. it looks crappy.

Fist off,
Thanks Builder2-0,

I can't get the fire to start, I end up beating it to pieces with my flint, any suggestions?

Ninja, way to be a douche....
you could be a little more grateful for their hard work.

You need fuel(wood, branch, bark etc) to keep the fire burning
And ninja isnt being a douche,he just think its a bug

I don't know either, let me look at this one more time:

The fix that is listed on page 67, which numerous people have said 'fixes the bug' is:
if (((getplayervalue(2)<80)+(getplayervalue(3)<80))>0){

Presumably this means that if either the player's hunger, or thirst, is under 80 then.... I have no idea. Let's see, the last if, the important one, is >0. This means that the script only runs if either of the previous values add up to 1 or 2. So you can only sleep if you are either not hungry, not thirsty, or not hungry or thirsty. Interestingly enough, that isn't how this script should work.

Now, the way the script was arranged before was:
if (((getplayervalue(2)>80)+(getplayervalue(3)>80))>0){
This should mean that if hunger, or thirst, is over 80 (read; in the red), they... Well, that's obviously not right either.

Alright, I don't know why people said the fix on page 67 is what you needed to do, because that just breaks the script even more. Give me a couple minutes to figure out how to re-arrange this script so it actually does what it should.

Right, this is the fixed game.inf:
http://www.multiupload.com/4PCS04NR0A

Go into your 'sys' folder and replace your game.inf with that one. The original way the script was written was correct, but the else\if needed to be swapped.

What are the specific settings you're using? ie; size, type, etc.

I'm not sure I understand what is going on. Can you elaborate?

I'm not sure, is the fire fueled? Are you being given any messages? As for Ninja, he was right, I definitely should have tested that fix before I assumed it worked.

wel, when i start the game, and i want to make my own map with the map editor, i use the new map icon. small island 16x16 or other maps. (no problems found, even when i want to place trees and other stuff) But when i did that, i want to make a small island next to the big island. But all the land becomes flat when i want to do that. And when i want to quit map editor, the resolution of the game changes. With no reason. I've didn't change the resolution to my self. Maybe the problem is windows 7?? And that the mod is used to be for windows xp or lower??

And builder, if Ninja whants to play in a map full with trees and other stuff, he can use the map editor. If he has windows xp or lower??

hay xZcarrotZx he is probably like me who wont make there own map because it fell like you give your self advantages because you now were every thing is

also builder if you can make could you make it so in stead of just map type and difficulty. Instead have resources, danger, and rules such as fall damage ect. that way it makes the random maps more the way people like also i agree the random map have nothing in the center

I've already done a search for various things this could be, so please don't rib on me for not looking. I'm not going to manually rifle through 40 pages of threads when there's a perfectly good one right here.

Okay, lacking any proper installation instructions, I assumed it needs to be installed over the Stranded 2 installation? I've done that, overwriting everything, but now when it loads up, it just throws up the error "Invalid GAME Property 'terrain_color_swamp' " when I load up the game. I tried looking in the game.inf file as one person suggested and changing "sawmp" to "swamp" but that didn't fix it either, gives the exact same error.

Is the game.inf supposed to look so messy? It's all over the place, whereas the vanilla game.inf is organised into sections, this one looks like it's been corrupted. I've downloaded it multiple times from different links in this thread over the last few days and they all look the same.

Coillscath to install just download from the lastest post from Builder, extract and then run Massive Mod.bat
you don't need to overwrite anything, this is the game + mod

It's not corrupted. I'm assuming you are viewing it in Notepad. Because of Notepad++ (the application I use for scripting) the files, when saved, tend to look 'broken' in other applications. Don't worry, they really aren't. As for your other problem, Peropero is correct.

I had a feeling that might be it. Thanks for clearing that up, Builder.

As for just running the .bat without overwriting anything, it won't work. It keeps telling me "Stranded II Mod dir/game files are missing" and doesn't even load, which is why I thought to overwrite the original game files instead. This mod sounds so cool, it's a bummer I can't get it to work.

Builder, i do medium/large maps, medium difficulty, normal terrain, though Mountain and Snow terrain has the same problem. just wide open spaces of absolutely nothing.

How to make sharkfinsoup and what skill level you need to make it? (or no skill lvl needed) And whats the best way to get food? I've tried to fish but that doesn't work. And killing some turtles. Even tried it on lions with spears, but bleeding to death is wasting my time. And wheat needs to much water. So whats left? my lvl difficulty is hard and big island with normal land.
