You can actually host more than 65k servers with the same IP (as many as valid port numbers are available). In theory.
The U.S.G.N. master server aka server list only accepts up to 5 entries per IP though. So additional servers won't show up in the server list.
All extra servers will work anyway. People have to connect manually though. Either by entering the address manually or by adding it to their favorites.
