Hey everyone, i have a problem, the server stats are not saving after map change and i checked everything (serversettings, stats folder ...) i hope, i get a solution about my problem. thanks.

This is most likely a file writing permission problem because it works fine for others.

Do you see any suspicious messages in the console?

How are you running the game? Win/Linux? CS2D client or dedicated server?

Does the application have permission to write to the specified sys/stats folder (in case of Linux: the folder/files also need the right owner/rights)

I don't see any suspicious messages in the console.

I'm running the game with Windows, i tested it with client and dedicated server.

I checked the permission and everything is okay.

Before i got this problem, i used one time Starkkz stats editor. Maybe this is the reason?

Shouldn't be but I'm not entirely sure.
What you could try is:

stop all CS2D programs

Remove the 2 dat files in your sys folder (copy them to another place so you still have them!)

Run CS2D again and see if it saves stuff

If it works it probably was caused by the edited stats somehow. Otherwise there has to be another issue.

And my Cs2d doesn't create stats.dat and userstats.dat automatically.

Hajt is talking about) or the path is bad or CS2D does not have the required permissions to write to the stats folder.

I hope you don't run CS2D in the "C:\program files" folder? And you didn't add a write lock to the stats folder for random reasons?

Starkkz's stats editor source code and couldn't find anything suspicious that alters Windows permissions or the stats system. If you're unsure, I can show it and let

I downloaded the whole cs2d game again and i still have the same problem. maybe it's something about my PC?

I just tried myself: With the default settings stats are only saved every 5 minutes. Did you run CS2D for at least 5 minutes? If not you should try it.

Lots of programs/games installed on C:/ have problems with saving or changing files. To solve this kind of problems I usually RUN a program AS AN ADMIN
