Hello, I have a question.
How do I put mods or gfx that I downloaded from here into my game?
To be correct, a silenced knife.
I removed my old knife stuff temporaily to put this knife in.
It doesn't work.
Please help.

A few times, yes. Didn't work after testing.
@_T The extension is both Bitmap.
My bad, I didn't put in the shadow image xD.

Why the background of that file is white or deleted? It should have magenta colour(255,0,255), I guess. And "It doesn't work" doesn't make enough sense. We need more information about it. Is it giving error? Do you see old knife skin?

The reason behind the problem why you cannot see this skin while on playing because the background colour is obviously not magenta. Technically speaking, CS2D always recognizes skins which have their background as magenta otherwise it wouldn't work.

This is a mistake done by the user who uploaded file cs2d J192's Silenced Knife . Just change the colour of the background to magenta with a paint tool such as MS Paint, Paint.NET or anything you have in your PC.

I did that, nothing happened.
Still this

And look, it is good now but still doesn't work

The file is .bmp, it's all good, I think the problem is with the knife's position itself.

Is that supposed to be magenta? Cause I'd tell it otherwise. If you don't want to mess up with the colours, type the following RGB code - rgb(255,0,255). I'm fairly sure you know the drill.

Can you answer these questions for god sake? Anyway, I'm not sure that background colour decidedly magenta.

Okay.
So I downloaded the file and put it on my desktop.
I had the other folders, gfx and sfx also in that folder.
So I took all the gfx and sfx out of their folders and put them on my desktop.
Then I got to my computer and then local disk, clicked counter strike 2d and went to gfx.
When I saw the weapons, I knew that was where I needed to put the gfx.
I deleted the original knife file along with its 2nd image, but not deleted from my hard disk.
And then I put the new files in.
Then I restarted cs2d and tested it out.
It didnt work.
Then I looked at the replies and put the magneta colour because the original knife image wasnt painted in magneta.
So I tested it again.
Did not work.
I was wondering why does the old knife still appear.
That is the whole process.
And yes, I am putting it into the weapons folder, and sfx into the sfx folder.

Make sure you're opening and launching CS2D from the correct directory. Copy and paste the knife graphic you've downloaded into gfx/weapons without deleting existing ones to make sure you're being prompted to replace knife.bmp.
