Hello people & fellow staff, I've been playing minecraft for months now and today I came back to play a little bit and I found @user Nekomata: that he sent me a message.

I knew that it was happening, the server was restarting itself, and I didn't want to tell them because i'll disturb them, so I went to check and here are the scripts i use:

> Unlimited Build Script
> _Wank's Bass Admin Script
> achievements by blaze.

i also think that the achievements is maybe causing it.

Wait for the next achievements script update, Simonas applies a performance patch almost each new version.

Well if the server which is hosting has shitty stats then it's no wonder this happens. But if the server is running on a decent setup then we know if this behaviour is normal or not.

It would be a waste of time to figure out what is causing the CPU to be fully used without knowing what the server can actually handle.

@user Yates: I highly doubt that, I'm sure the host has insane specs (last time it was like 24GB of RAM or so).
@user Inflexion: Tell nighthawk to analyze the situation further (same goes for you).

The resources aren't an issue, it's infact the opposite thus the reason for kenpachi providing freehosting.

The only reason to the usage is because of a script not behaving correctly. This happens with scripts causing memory leaks or being executing in a looping form. Could be a ms100 or always hook gone wrong.

For now lets debug this step by step. I've re-enabled your server. Disable all the scripts for now (including any map scripts) and PM me when you're done. I've also PM'd you further instructions.

Lemme guess that you didn't actually understand. The server won't run, It won't appear until this get fixed, I'm going to disable script by script.. The restarting is looping crazy, lemme tell the results here.

Fixed. Achievements was causing this, Simonas was actually wrong then, I'll try to fix achievements.

Fix for people who haves this problem: Remove achievements lua (by Simonas)

No, the server kept looping for days non stop, 24/24 couldn't be a ddos.

This problem was already resolved, there's no need to keep discussing it.

The problem was with Achievements script.

What can I answer to that? There are no specific errors reported. Your post did not help either. This issue might be a conflict between scripts you are using, unfortunally your lack of knowledge cannot resolve it. Removing script is not a fix, use your common sense kid.

Also, there are many factors that you have to consider. The map, the online time, the players, the occurred actions during and before the massive use of CPU usage.

Why don't you use only THAT script on a dust map, with nothing else and see what happens. If the lag/heavy CPU usage still occurs the script may contain issues, then you start to cut out bits and bobs to see if it still occurs, if not then heyy everyone now can rest assured that the script is not the problem.

You're looking at this the opposite way of how you should. Either come with actual results or don't come at all.

Your fix is vague and the problem is not really solved as you think. I've tested user SQ's achievements & statistics script and I can tell you that I haven't spotted any lags, delays or issues. It runs very well.

user Nekomata already came up with a explanation of this problem which this might be your problem. Either a hook gone wrong, complex tasks using ms100 and many of them, just check the problem carefully on every script you use.
