Yes because no one should buy a new PC just upgrade the software and the hardware will totally agree, it will learn to love and accept.
Yates, erik9631: I'm not too knowledgeable on this but I'm fairly sure that VADemon meant that using Win 10 would consume less computer resources compared to other OS and thus help run Stranded 3 performance wise. While it might boost the performance of the operating system itself, it still won't be enough to make a noticeable difference in terms of gaming.
Why you are asking?
The operating system might free up some system resources (Mostly ram in this case) but usage of other components by the operating system itself is simply TOO LOW to impact performance in individual applications, if it impacts them at all that is.
Compatibility might be the only thing that could impact performance in a way, but considering that stranded 3 is made with the latest available software I doubt this would be the case.
So simply said. Operating system does not affect the performance in games. It is all down to the hardware which, unfortunately, OP clearly lacks.
