Moderator is not so strict.
Moderators only carry out their work.
Like me, I had broken the rules I use Indonesian and I was banned but must remain patient because I had broken the rules.
Then, if I do not break the rules I was not banned!
Modarator was fair too!

To be honest with the admins, i use a double account. My email was hacked.

Not post-related right?
Well, thats not my point.

My first acc. is Im Playn. I've been in this site for 5 years. I still remember @user 0a: elected moderator. His avatar was a gasmasked guy on a orange background. @user useigor: wasn't a moderator back then. He was a good sprite skinner tho.

All these years, i've encountered many assholes, douchebags and posers. Forums and post are not properly monitored. But now, i mean currently now, i've seen the difference now then what it was last 4 years ago.

To prove my irrelevant post, I think moderators are just fine.

Yes. SOME mod decided to delete my map for no valid reason "The quality is too low. Try putting in more effort. Don't post your 5-minute tests." I worked like 2 hours on that map to get the blending right. Not complaining, the map WAS crap, and I guess you can't always be nice

@user Accurator: *Cough*Cough*Cough* Glad you understand.

Please don't dislike me for deleting your files. I only delete those that are poorly made, have low like amount and don't have many downloads.

P.S. Just because a user's file gets deleted, doesn't mean it's a bad file. It means that the file has to be improved to the point that the users would see it as something worthy.

I find moderators too strict because they punish people who violate the rules. There is a more humane approach: you should ask people not to break the rules ever again in a kind way. If that doesn't work why bother banning them when you could just keep reminding them until they get sick of it and comply to the rules. This approach doesn't even require any moderators: regular users can start an offtopic conversation about the rule breaker and force him/her to the golden road of maturity.

@user Livia: Lets pretend I'm a big asshole who is immature ~~~ lol ~~ Try to make me stop in a kind (loolol) way. I get reminded by starkkz (:ft: silly name :D) not to spam but lol why should I I can just keep spamming, why would I care about what he tells me (lol). I'm immature and not listening to any of you, how would I get sick (ebola lol) of spamming this forum and I am really eager (*eagle noise* lololol eagle xD) to hear what user Sparty has to say because I just know I'll stop misbehaving if he explains (lol what does that mean hahaha) why what I'm doing is wrong (or right lol :D) I'm sure he'll be able to 'force' me to stop (lol, I ain't stopping :DD~~)

I'd like to see a forum with such system work for a week. I wonder at which day user DC would get annoyed to the point that he'd bring the current system back.

This makes no sense.
How do you kindly approach to a guy that is flaming everywhere and being idiotic? And ban system DOES prevent people from creating shitstorms.
All people need to do is read the rules and just behave normal. I mean, is it that hard not to be a fucking idiot? Is it that hard to keep your mouth shut about racism? If you're starving to flame, go ahead and get banned; simple as that.
@user Rainoth: damn, you tried so hard to be immature and it still didn't work as intended, my friend.

Admin/mod comment

It's hard to act immature past certain stages of life. With proper grammar to add... /user Rainoth

Livia surely wasnt honest about what he wrote, guess this was just a different kind of way to show how pointless this topic is.

Not all, but it's not fair to get a temp ban just because you uploaded a file which doesn't reach more than 10 likes and 10 dls in one week and after that, removed from files archive. It's not possible to reach it in a week, in one month you can. Mods should ask us about our "poorly made files" if we can update it within a week or the file it'll be removed.
