Because you are using the same internet, ofc it will show in lan.
About the blue screen. I don't really know, I also tested out sparta2 and sparta10 but they didn't give me any blue screen.
Crashing when opening it in the map editor probably is the old snow trick.

Well its easy to trick that snow protection. but i doubt its the same here.. i can open every snow protected map but it will just drop my fps to 5-10 but there are some maps which just let your client crash after you opened them -black screen for about a minute and then cs2d closes itself. Idk maybe some mapfiles are damaged and causes this problem..
Open editor with Entity Graphics unchecked(then open the map) use 
entitylist, list them in a file, find some strange entities, remove them in editor@
XoOt: For snow protected map, i'm just uncheck the Entity Graphics and it gives no lag. MikuAuahDark: yea thats what i meant with tricking it. This protection as old as dino`s shit.
