Hey us and especially DC, what is your opinion and stance on kickstarting Stranded III so DC can work full time on it?
Would you help kickstarting?
Let me hear your opinion
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

I think that you need to wait some time. Then you will see the result

I currently don't want to use crowdfunding (it's connected with many problems like taxes etc.). It probably wouldn't drastically speed up the development of Stranded III either.

No, I'm basically working on it full time already because I finished my bachelor in computer science and I'm currently looking for a job...

Just a word of warning; if you do snag a job with software development, make sure that they don't suck up your authorship rights for work you do after-hours. I recently resigned from a job where they wanted IP rights on some code I wrote for the OpenBSD project AT HOME. I stupidly signed their contract without looking at those clauses first and now the code cannot be submitted due to the a-holes at the top.

This would be your chance to get a job in game development then
