Also there are people which make comments like this: "Guys! Google is changing comments back to normal! Read here: goog.ly/jumpscarelink."

And stupid ASCII art. Everywhere.

Also if you click on a time link in the comments, ex: "3:24".
It will just open another video.
Google just can't accept the fact that G+ was a fail, they want to force you to use it.

In my own opinion Youtube is going straight down the tube.
Since the fu*king update started - all the users of Youtube are forced to use Google+

Big channels are getting strikes & claims on their videos from companies that don't even freakin exist, and even if they do most of them allow footage of their games/music & etc. Example : Nerd3 Channel got a video of Portal 2 that was claimed by Valve. When it clearly says that Valve encourages players to make videos. That does not make any sense - why would Valve disallow footage of their own games, when they want people to do so.

Tomb Raider videos are getting strikes by a company named Tombraider ...

The comment system is gone to sh*t - it allows users to post links leading to viruses, malware & other sort of stuff others don't need.
Some youtube videos (most of them) reset the quality to 144p - probably saving bandwidth (its just idiotic).

If youtube does not stop this kind of stupidity - its bound to go in the trash.

You could always post links even at the old comment system. They where just not clickable.

And why the fuck would you click on a random link on a youtube video?

Don't click on links by strangers, and also don't take free lollipops from strangers. Simple as that.

Even by looking at the comment and the link itself you could tell most of the time if it is a legit link or not.

If it is a malicious website, chances are that your browser will warn you about if, before accessing the page. And even if not, you anti-virus software/firewall should protect you.

If it is a link shortener, either don't click it, or use a "tool" to check the link before clicking it. For example add an + at the end of a bit.ly link to check where it will lead you. To be honest I'm not a friend of link shortener services and they are a in my opinion a bigger threat then links in the youtube comment section.

In my opinion the amount of links in the comment section decreased since the update because people started to use shadow banning.

In my opinion, Youtube should go back to how it was before. BUT, at least mix old and new.

• For one, conversations are pretty easier to follow now. Before, they were confusing as hell. One click led to another and another. Now, one click, and boom, entire conversation.

• Bring back the YOU in Youtube. The Channel was supposed to be you. Now, every channel just looks the same. I guess one can get used to it. But, it just gets boring to look at.
