So after bashar used chemical weapons, are you with or against attacking bashar's government?
If you don't care just don't comment.
In case some of you don't know about this: (warning)

Bashar keeps saying that the rebels did it which doesn't make sense because if they had chemical weapons, why didn't they use it on bashar's army instead of their own people?
Post what you think about this.

I have no political alliance. And I'm no supporter of Assad.

The rebels are doing quite a lot of shit. Plus, those rebels are a bunch of barbaric animals.

You might also want to note that these bunch of apes are working with Al-Qaeda/Taliban affiliations.

You realise that America (and the United Kingdom, partially) have been offering to intervene with this war with weaponry and support for the Free Syrian Army and other related groups?

Also, there is no evidence (apart from propaganda being stirred up by the media) that Assad even used gas attacks against innocent citizens.

These really are unnecessary to post.

@user Doberman: Don't insult. keep this thread clean.
You say that the rebels are barbaric because of the way they kill, what they're doing is wrong but if you've actually seen what bashar's people are doing, you woudn't blame them, there are tons of videos of bashar's people torturing women and children just to force the rebels to show up.

You think america would actually give them chemical weapons knowing that alqaeda could have it, it's so obvious that its bashar, no doubt about it.

I don't like the fact that they are working with alqaeda because alqaeda proved that they're a bunch of terrorists in a video shows them killing men just because they belong to the same religious group of bashar (alawites).

@user Time: Not sure what you mean but this needs to end, Russia is supporting bashar which made him stronger and the arabic countries won't do shit because they're cowards.
I know america didn't actually do that to stop killing, they did it to destroy bashar because he didn't obey them and obeyed russia instead, but the killing needs to be stopped and as long as russia using veto it wont.

I haven't really been keeping up with the civil war or whatever is going on in Syria much, but since this guy is supporting Russia (or getting Russia's support) then he's clearly on the wrong side in my book. Nuke him.

Iraq is still f***ed up, the country changed, the people changed. Now USA tries to start a war in Syria. A civil war won't take so many people's lifes as a regular war.
And once again: why would Assad use chemical weapons? Is he a kamikaze?

@user VADemon: I get your point and I'm actually scared of that, but from what I know america can't do much in syria currently.
About alasad yes he's actually desperate because the whole world is against him and he knows his end is soon and everyday more and more people of his army are joining the rebels and some of his ministers already left him so yeah he could have done this.
Alqaeda are terrorists but why would they use chemical weapons on their allies? why not on bashar's or some alwites village? they consider the whole world as enemy so it doesn't make sense that they did this to blame it on bashar and get help from the west.

Obamas decision of taking action for what happened is somewhat necessary. If no action is taken some parts of Syria might continue using chemical weapons on even more people which in the long run would require some type of action as it then would be deemed a critical situation for many of the people who lives in Syria. In that sense it's okay in terms of peace keeping to go in there and solve the situation. I don't know what to think really.

The situation is a bit crazy to say the least. This is a horrible event that has happened in modern history not far from WW2 that occured 1939 to 1945. I for one would at least respect Obamas decision in going in there to take care of threats if they can and if they can do it properly without hurting innocent citizens. As of acts of terrorism is not really okay and I also agree to what user Doberman stated. I'd say yes for a attack against Syria but only if it results in something positive. Such as minimal to no casualties of citizens as a result from going in and searching for the perpetrators and maybe get them to court (similar as to what happened with Saddam Hussein's verdict), so that these perpetrators can get a penalty for what they've done in Syria. It all depends on Obama at the end of the day.

Anyway, Bashar became very crazy and very corrupted. If he doesn't give up his authority, he will die like Nicolae Ceausescu and Muhammad Gaddafi

I just want to throw this thing in between the discussion.

The United States of America wants to start a war with Syria and that because of the fact that Syria broke a rule concerning the usage of gas-attacks on civilians. By doing that they violated a anti-chemical-bombing rule by the United States.

See, this is what I don't understand, remember the Vietnam war? We have all seen the following picture:
This is a picture taken after a napalm attack on a Vietnamese village. Now I don't know if you know the function of a napalm strike? But I assume you don't, so I'll explain it to you. And I state Wikipedia for giving me the correct terms and explication:
Quote
Napalm is a mixture of a thickening/gelling agent and petroleum or a similar fuel for use in an incendiary device. Initially used against buildings and later primarily as an anti-personnel weapon that sticks to skin and causes severe burns when on fire. Also napalm generates temperatures of 800 to 1,200 degrees Celsius (1,500-2,200°F). When used as a part of an incendiary weapon, napalm can cause severe burns (ranging from superficial to subdermal) to the skin and body, asphyxiation, unconsciousness, and death.

Now this (to me at least) seems like using a chemical attack right?

So the way I see it is that the US is saying that Syria violated a rule that they put up and agreed on but the US violated their own rule and don't get punished? I can't follow anymore.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't support any kind of war, I'm not in favour of the US neither am I in the favour of Syria, I'm not picking sides here!
