I want to know how did you guys learned to do lua scripts. I like to try to make some scripts for personal use, but I rarely can finish one without needing help. I usually go to scripts files and download one that I suppose that contains what I need, and try to "learn" from that downloaded one. But still there are some tables, variables and functions that I can't understand just by reading codes...
Does anyone can recommend me a way to learn it? I really want to have conditions to make each time, a better script. Thanks!

When I was 12 I went to unreal software and asked Russian scripters to help me, because my English was very bad back then. So I had a teacher who taught me scripting, then I was just learning from other people's scripts. I'm almost 16 now and know Lua almost perfectly.

If you need help, then you can ask me and I will explain all these function/arrays/variables for you.

Teached myself from ZERO. ONLY HARDCORE!
Back in 2010/11 there weren't ANY Lua tutorials. [IMHO:] The reason for this is that Lua is considered to be simply (by programmers who already know an another programming language). But it's true, Lua is very simple.
And btw, file archive's scripts aren't the best examples to learn from. Most of them not only suck at perfomance but also at coding style.
