@user medeiros: There shouldn't have been any religious "bullshit" as (if you've read the OP and actually understood it) I have proven the fact that this topic couldn't be discussed on religious grounds; I stated that I was a deist, so that religious people wouldn't accuse me of being areligious and biased, and that atheists wouldn't perceive me as one of them. Aggressive atheists, like you. I've yet to see a sane Christian ridiculing atheists; however, I've seen more than enough atheists who ridiculed and provoked religious people.

Well wow. Yates just said it better than me, and with fewer words too.

What have atheists to even do with the topic? Just ask people's opinions on suicide, no religious bullshit in it.

Religion has a lot to do with it. According to the bible it is a sin to commit suicide. This can well take part in someone's opinion/being brain washed.

Suicide is a sin. Torah says "Do not murder", killing yourself counts as a murder.

Bible says that Judah killed himself after he betrayaled Jesus. Bible also mentioned that Judah went to hell. He had a chance to be forgiven, but instead he has chosen death...

This fact brought me to an another point. Every human has right of choice. The choice of being on God's or satan's side. God didn't wanted to create us as a brainless zombies without rights of a choice.

I'm not an atheist, but I don't really believe in the story of Genesis that God created Earth, the other planets and Adam and Eve.

I'd say suicide is a sin because God created us in his own image and if we did suicide, it'll be a big sin since god created us and we would just waste our lives that god created.

According to the bible masturbating is also a sin. And 90% of this community touches himself/herself at night. Damn, I guess there's gonna be a thread about if masturbating is God's will or not.

Anyways, in my opinion, suiciding isn't a sin but an emotional option to cowards who wants to escape forever his/her fear.
The world is an open jungle to everyone, if you go alone, you're probably fucked up and going to die in less than a day.
This can apply to suicide. You'll suicide if there's no one around, when you're alone or when no one wants you. Instead, if you have support of everyone, your thoughts about suiciding decreases more and more.

I am an atheist and believe that once you're dead, you're dead. If I commit suicide right now I will not be able to experience any consequence as I will be dead, so if you think it's better than living than suicide may be a way out. However, like @user ohaz: said life is a gift and we should use it to its fullest.

All life and the universe has no point, it is a never ending line into the future, the micro and the macro. all life including humans are just ever evolving laws of physics. your book is just a collection of ideas and has no meaning other than inside your own mind. and when it dies so will the meaning of the words of the book within it.

The only reason the OP created this thread is to prove you wrong (he thinks very highly of his opinions and is not open to reasoning as he's never been) / and share his strong and unreasonable hatred for atheists (I can't be bothered to quote everything just scroll up for those who care).

He's got strong opinions that prevent him from having conversations from objective points of view so stop wasting time.

I hope people learn something from threads such as this one. Learn to talk, it's harder than it seems.

@user palomino: Dude, everyone's talking about religion stuff. So I don't know what to discuss besides religion. No one in this thread yet commented a not religion-related stuff

So you can't discuss anything without bringing up religion? This was meant to be a philosophical discussion, not a religious one.

Okay, let's go through all those points.
1) No; to share my thoughts, and make people talk about something else than games.
2) If you actually read what I said, you'd see that I am pretty open to discussions. Did I ever in this topic state anything? Except the fact that religion shouldn't be discussed here. No, I haven't, I asked questions and voiced my opinion.

Because there is nothing to quote.
You are a sociopath, as you've already mentioned some time ago. Stop acting like an asocial fuck you are and try to be reasonable.
4) Accusations, accusations, accusations... And nothing to back them up.

Now that we've got through all of this, I'd like to ask you to carefully read what I said, carefully read the OP and the posts by the other users, and contribute to the topic, or, if you aren't able to, to fuck off.

In my second post I was clear enough, so to everyone that misunderstood it (including myself, when I was writing it) don't use religion as a source of your arguments. Thank you.

@user palomino: I don't even know what to discuss without involving religion because most people here commented religion stuff.

Tell me something that can be discussed here other than religion-related stuff and relates to the topic.

Your own opinion! Must you post stupid comments every single fucking time. It's bloody annoying, now read Alex's last post carefully; "and contribute to the topic, or, if you aren't able to, to fuck off."

You can discuss any topic without involving religion, you have your own opinion, right!? Shit dude, your metre bar went full on retard.

@user DevGru: Don't you have your own opinion? Why can't you voice it? Why do you have to go "hurr durr God said suicide is a bad thing hurr durr". Why can't you say something like "the point of life is to love somebody and to be loved; to make the world better"?

Note: The stuff enclosed in quotation marks doesn't reflect my opinion (not my whole opinion, that is) unless I say so.
